OSHC/Vacation Care Director

Holy Family Catholic School offers an exciting opportunity for a  Director – OSHC & Vacation Care in our service licenced for 90 children.

  • Full-time permanent position
  • 37.5 hours per week, 48 working weeks per year and 4 weeks annual leave
  • The Service includes Before & After School, Vacation Care

The OSHC/Vacation Care Director is responsible for the daily management and administration of an OSHC service (delegated by the Principal who is the Nominated Supervisor). The Director manages and lead other staff to implement a program based upon recognised School Age Care Framework (OSHC/Vacation Care).

Educator – Classroom Support

This role will involve supporting individual students and/or small groups of students in Reception to Year 6 with a range of needs within the school, under the direction of the teacher or the leadership team.

Ideally the candidate will have a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support (or equivalent) with an passion to support children’s learning. Applicants undertaking a tertiary studies are also encouraged to apply.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm for 41 weeks during school terms and 1 week prior to start of term 1.

Qualified OSHC Worker

Come join our team!  We are seeking OSHC Educators to support the OSHC team at Holy Family Catholic School in the provision of quality OSHC services. The Educator will be responsible for assisting the OSHC service to lead a balanced and engaging learning environment which is centred upon the needs of the children and outlined in the National Quality Standards.

Holy Family Catholic School provides a supportive, inclusive and stimulating work environment, with access to outstanding facilities and resources to enable excellence. The employment terms and conditions are governed by the South Australian Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2020.

  • The casual hourly rate for this position starts at $43.977 per hour in accordance with the South Australian Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2020.
  • Hours of work during term time will vary across a weekly roster depending on ratio requirements. Shifts will be a minimum of 2 hours.
  • During school term breaks (Vacation Care) hours will be negotiated with the OSHC Director to reflect the needs of the Vacation Care Program.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS 

  • Diploma in Education/Child Care, or OSHC services or equivalent (ie: completed a minimum of 2 years of a Bachelor of Education)
  • Current First Aid HLTAID012 (includes CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management certifications)
  • A current Working With Children’s Check (WWCC)
  • Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education & Care (RRHAN-EC).
