Educator – Early Learning

Our team of Educators are responsible for providing the highest quality education and care for children enrolled in Holy Family Early Learning incorporating Preschool and Long Day Care for children 3-5 years.

We are seeking an Educator available to work Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm until 18 July 2025.

Professional Requirements

– Approved ACECQA Certificate III or Diploma level qualification. (List of approved qualifications at: https://www.acecqa.gov.au/qualifications/nqf-approved)

– Current First Aid HLTAID012 (includes CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management certifications)

Grounds & Maintenance Officer

We’re looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our vibrant school community at Holy Family Catholic School. You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of activities to ensure school buildings, grounds and facilities remain safe and in good working order and that the plant, equipment and other aspects of the school’s physical environment are correctly administered and maintained as per Work Health & Safety requirements.

This is a permanent part time position is for 25 hours per week.

Student Services Officer

The Student Services Officer will provide a welcoming environment for students, families, staff and visitors of Holy Family Catholic School and daily first aid/health support  to our students.

Working collaboratively and cooperatively with the front office team, this role requires friendly, prompt and professional customer service. A high level of organisational skills, coupled with a positive outlook and flexibility, will assist in juggling multiple tasks with ease.

An important part of the role is to provide support to students while displaying sensitivity, empathy and compassion.

This is a permanent part-time position working 9.30am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday during the school terms.

Marketing & Communications Officer

The Marketing and Communications Officer is responsible to the Principal for coordinating the marketing activities of Holy Family Catholic School. The Marketing and Communications Officer works collaboratively with the School Leadership team coordinating, implementing and supporting a common vision for marketing at Holy Family Catholic School. They will create and update content for all platforms, digital, web and print and maintain consistency in the application of Holy Family Catholic School’s style guidelines and presence in the marketplace

This is permanent part-time position working 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday for 41 weeks.

Professional Requirements

– University qualification in Marketing or Communications and in first marketing role post graduation and/or demonstrated experience in a comparable role. Experience working in the Education sector is desirable.

Qualified OSHC Worker

Permanent and Casual positions available

Come join our team!  We are seeking OSHC Educators to support the OSHC team at Holy Family Catholic School in the provision of quality OSHC services. The Educator will be responsible for assisting the OSHC service to lead a balanced and engaging learning environment which is centred upon the needs of the children and outlined in the National Quality Standards.

Employment Conditions and Benefits:

Holy Family Catholic School provides a supportive, inclusive and stimulating work environment, with access to outstanding facilities and resources to enable excellence. The employment terms and conditions are governed by the South Australian Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2020.

The casual hourly rate for this position starts at $43.977 per hour in accordance with the South Australian Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2020.

Hours of work during term time will vary across a weekly roster depending on ratio requirements. Shifts will be a minimum of 2 hours.

During school term breaks (Vacation Care) hours will be negotiated with the OSHC Director to reflect the needs of the Vacation Care Program.

– Diploma in Education/Child Care, or OSHC services or equivalent (eg: completed a minimum of 2 years of a Bachelor of Education)
